In short, we are transforming the way business-critical technical knowledge is documented. The company is now expanding fast, due to high demand from an international customer base, including Fortune 100 companies.
As part of the expansion, Paligo is now looking for a VP Marketing to set and execute the strategy for leads generation as well as hiring a highly skilled marketing team to execute on the Paligo vision.
About the role
As part of the Management team, the VP Marketing will be responsible for devising and executing a marketing strategy that effectively powers the lead generation to increase sales. To succeed in executing the strategy it’s expected for you to build the marketing team with the right people and competence.
Some of your team’s areas of responsibilities:
- Analysing, measuring and follow-up on marketing investments to ensure ROI.
- Communicating position and values through suitable marketing channels with the objective to increase Paligo’s brand awareness, through Google Ads, paid media, content marketing, digital campaigns and/or events.
- Work closely with sales to instigate and execute ideas which directly provide a route to lead generation and improves the conversion of leads.
- Be the go-to-person in the company to identify personas and understand what triggers Paligo’s specific target groups.
- Set up dashboards and KPI’s to follow the marketing and sales funnels.
- Optimize marketing automation with the use of Hubspot.
- Full budget responsibility.
Seeing that this is a new position, you will be given responsibility from day one.
Your main stakeholders are the sales organization.
You will report to the CEO and be part of the management team. The position is based in Stockholm.

Requirements of experience
- + 7 years of working in a digital marketing management position.
- Experience from a growth company, preferably within SaaS or software.
- Proven track record from increased sales through leads generation.
- Have an understanding of multinational companies.
- B2B experience.
- Strong background in data analysis.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English with the ability to easily communicate complex ideas.
- Education: Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent.
Meriting:
- Excellent knowledge In Hubspot or equivalent.
- Experience from building a marketing team in a growth company.
