Funnel is a SaaS product that works with some of the largest global brands to automate the creation of Business-Ready Data.
We enable marketers to collect, transform, normalize and analyze their marketing data from all of their marketing tools and channels. Our customers make their businesses more data-driven by drawing meaningful insights from their business and marketing data that we deliver to them. We are a fast-growing, well-funded scale-up. Our customers range from large e-commerce businesses to advertising agencies and well known consumer brands. Since the product launch in 2015, we have set up offices in Stockholm, Boston and Dublin, and grown to service thousands of marketers all over the world, with the US and EU as the largest markets.

About the role

We dream big, start small and scale quickly, and we are ready to take Funnel to the next phase of building a category leading Saas company. We are looking for a marketing leader to amplify our strong, purpose-driven brand globally and build overall market leadership and value for our category, product and company.

This is a highly collaborative role that requires working closely with senior leaders across the company and you will be a part of the marketing leadership team together with the VP of Growth and VP of Product & Partner Marketing. As we have grown, and built an efficient, scalable and predictable customer acquisition model, we have also done much of the work to build the foundation of the Funnel brand. We now need your help to bring our brand to life internally and externally to enable high growth and expanding market share for many years to come. As VP Brand & Communications you will define and drive the brand strategy through multiple channels and touchpoints including: storytelling, design, campaigns, events, our community, and partnerships.

Reporting to the CMO & Co-founder, you will develop a new function that will cover brand marketing, market demand creation, field marketing and PR.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of something (almost) from the beginning and leave your mark as you help further evolve Funnel's brand.

What you will do

  • Drive the company’s brand strategy and narrative, including overall brand architecture, personality, naming, definition of key channels, tactics and measures.
  • Hone and reinforce Funnel’s storytelling to express our brand and impact both externally and internally.
  • Build and activate new and existing channels and tactics to drive brand salience and market demand
  • Measurement and KPI follow up
  • Partner with the Revenue team to create a great customer experience
  • Partner with the People team to build a purpose-driven employer brand.
  • Collaborate and work closely with leaders across Funnel to ensure brand consistency.
  • Lead the Design and Creative work 
  • Direct and coordinate Funnels PR and corporate communications.
  • Build a world class team
  • Implement excellent and sustainable processes

What you will bring

  • You are equally passionate about marketing and being a great leader. You naturally collaborate, influence and work closely with cross-functional teams and executives through a combination of strategic leadership and enthusiasm.
  • 10+ years of experience in senior marketing management roles, including specific experience in brand marketing
  • Proven success in building or developing global brands
  • Experience from working with creative agencies.
  • Experience leading global and hybrid teams.
  • Significant experience in a global SaaS company or similar.
  • Aligned with the Funnle’s culture: team, growth mindset, empowerment, and humility.
  • Comfortable working in an environment of complexity and change. 
  • Experience from and enjoys working in a fast paced, high energy environment.
  • Excellent English communication skills – written, creative and verbal.

The following is not a requirement but a big plus

  • Experience in category creation
