About the Company
Mediatool, a Swedish based SaaS company founded in 2015 with the simple notion that when it came to Media Management, there had to be a better way. The company offer a state-of-the-art Media Management platform that optimize planning, tracking, and managing media investments. With an already substantial share of its customer base located in the United States, Mediatool is currently undergoing substantial expansion, necessitating the recruitment of a highly skilled Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join the management team in Stockholm.
About the Role
You will be part of the strategic executive leadership, drive organizational alignment, operational effectiveness, and the achievement of key objectives. This will require exceptional leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. The role is new to the company and you will be part of setting up the team-structure as the company expands. You will support the CEO in executing the company's strategic goals and initiatives and oversee the day-to-day operations of the company and ensure that business operations run smoothly, and company objectives are met with focus on EMEA. This includes overseeing and support the company's sales, marketing, and customer service operations as well as mentoring the company's employees to foster a positive, effective and ambitious work environment.
The initial focus areas will involve spearheading partnerships and product distribution to achieve repeatable, scalable sales. Additionally, the role includes driving upsell initiatives, developing a comprehensive business plan, optimizing packaging, and determining pricing strategies, all while assuming full Profit and Loss (PnL) responsibility.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working in a strategic/operational leadership role within a similar field such as growth SaaS/Software Subscription Tech company.
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Economics or a similar relevant field
- Strategic thinking and execution with experience developing and implementing strategic plans, driving initiatives, and achieving measurable results in a fast-paced environment.
- Significant Experience in General Management and P&L supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in english.
- Experience with building and maintaining strategic partnerships and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
