About the company

As one of the few public SaaS (Software as a Service) companies in the Nordic region, Briox develops and sells its own ERP system that supports accounting, invoicing, time management and related tasks. The company’s core customers are accounting agencies in Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, who use Briox’ platform in their ongoing interaction with small- to medium sized enterprises.

With the objective to take the company to the next level, a new CEO (Johan Nordqvist) was recently appointed. In parallel, the Board was strengthened by two new members (Helena Westin and Daniel de Sousa). These appointments were made with a clear ambition to accelerate business growth, and to enable Briox to take a leading role in the exciting transformation of the accounting industry.

About the role

To further strengthen the organization, Briox is now recruiting a Chief Product Officer. This person will serve as the company’s highest authority responsible for creating, managing and executing the company’s product vision and strategy.

At Briox, a truly customer-centric product offer is not a buzz word. It is rather viewed as a prerequisite for driving customer loyalty over time, thereby establishing a sustainable a winning business model.

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Product Officer will play a critical role in Briox’ future success. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate, who will be given a strong mandate and a great deal of freedom to lead the delivery of several business-critical initiatives.

Your key areas of responsibilities:

  • Ensure a deep customer understanding. Lead the ongoing analysis of how the product is used and customer behavior.
  • Lead the implementation of strategic product development initiatives. Identify, design and lead the execution of projects that significantly improve the customer/user experience, while also delivering on Briox business objectives.
  • Act as a coordinator between key stakeholders and product development. Challenge, clarify and prioritize incoming product requests to enable meaningful innovation and sustainable business growth.
  • Act as the overall product owner. Have the mandate to lead the strategic product development agenda, including commercial packaging and pricing strategy.
  • Act as the company role model in the building of a customer-centric culture. Educate and engage the rest of the organization in order for everybody to understand and embrace the philosophy of starting with the customer.

  • Be the natural go-to-person when it comes to product and customer related issues.
  • Roll up your sleeves when needed and do what is necessary to drive the company forward.

  • Be result-oriented.

You have

  • An academic background
  • 10+ years of product management experience in a fast-growing software company (or similar environment).
  • Extensive experience of working with customer-centric product development.
  • Experience from a collaborative role in a transformational environment.
  • A solid product management toolbox, with focus on agile and customer-centric working methods.
  • Fluency in English (speaking and writing).
