About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, commercially minded leader to drive the growth and transformation of our streaming platform business. As the Head of Business Management – Streaming, you will be responsible for the strategy, operations, and profitability of the streaming platform across the Nordic markets.
This is a pivotal role in shaping the future of the organization as streaming becomes our primary business focus. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders across content, sales, and technology to align and deliver on objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic and operational initiatives to maximize revenue, profitability, and customer value perception for the streaming platform.
- Personnel responsibility for a team consisting of a Business Manager and a Price and Package Manager in Sweden, as well as a Go-to-Market Manager in both Norway and Denmark.
- Develop product and pricing strategies, ensuring they align with customer expectations and business goals.
- Establish a framework for pricing, discounting, and packaging tailored to various market needs.
- Track market trends, analyze competitors, and exploit revenue opportunities while ensuring competitive positioning.
- Contribute to and leverage content distribution agreements, supporting negotiation mandates.
- Define business rules and frameworks to optimize operations and customer experience.
- Act as a key stakeholder in go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment from research to customer delivery.
- Drive the sustainable growth of the streaming platform while managing challenges related to legacy systems and processes.
- Oversee the commercial roadmap and ensure delivery on revenue and profit targets.
- Collaborate with the technology team to ensure system development aligns with business needs.
Required Skills & Experience • Work Experience
- Significant experience in managing streaming, subscription-based, or OTT (Over-the-Top) businesses.
- Proven ability to work with and understand P&L management, gross profit margins, and business case development.
- Experience in product packaging, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
- Knowledge of subscription models (e.g., TV, music, books, or other digital platforms).
- Prior experience leading digital transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
Educational Background
- A Bachelor’s degree (3 years) in Business, Marketing, or a related field is
required. - Equivalent experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
Leadership Capabilities
- Charismatic and inspiring leadership style to guide and influence teams
across various markets. - Demonstrated ability to handle complex cross-functional challenges
while maintaining alignment with organizational goals. - Experience working with and inspiring teams from diYerent cultural and
operational backgrounds.
Additional Requirements
- Strong analytical and financial acumen.
- Ability to collaborate with tech teams to ensure systems and tools support
commercial objectives. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to navigate complex
organizational structures. - A self-starter capable of working in fast-paced environments with competing
priorities.
